March 2020 brings Jersey Mike’s Subs month of Giving which helps to support TAVF. With the last Wednesday of March, (3/25/2020) being the Day of giving where 100% of the days Sales go to TAVF.
The great news is that Marc, the owner of Jersey Mike’s Subs in Branford has added a new second location in Guilford.

2nd Annual Ted Aub Memorial Car Show in Madison on the Green!
Some 200+ classic and antique autos, together with their owners and helpers will miraculously appear on the beautiful and Madison Town Green on Saturday morning. Only $10 to enter a car, or it’s free spectator admission. So come on down and check out these beauties!

For the 7th consecutive year, Take a Vet Fishing has been selected as charity partner for our local Jersey Mike’s Subs for their “Month of Giving”. Last year Jersey Mike’s Subs raised over $12,000 for TAVF! Ranking #16 in the Nation among over 1,400 stores!
Wednesday March 27, 2019 is their “DAY of GIVING” (DOG) where 100% of the DAY’S SALES …yes, your ENTIRE PURCHASE AMOUNT will be donated to TAVF!

Over 6,000 veterans served since 2007; last year alone 700+ at 19 fishing events and 29 total events including fundraising! All funds go directly to providing fishing related activities… non-profit, no salaries paid, no corporate overhead, broad community support, many partner organizations. Thank you for your support. You won’t find a better bunch of folks than you will at a Take A Vet Fishing event. It’s our chance to honor and say thank you to our veterans for serving our country. And we do it while wetting a line and taking our chances at reeling in a fish or two. Throw in some good old-fashioned hospitality and a barbecue, and a good time is just about guaranteed!
