Christmas Dinner 2022 TAVF.ORG

A fantastic Christmas Dinner closes out a great year for TAVF. We were honored to have over 1300 Veterans participate in TAVF events this year. Thank you for your Service to this great nation.

Christmas Dinner 2022. St Therese Church (St. John Bosco Parish) Branford CT. Sponsored by AMVETS Post 18.

Thank you to the volunteers from the Quilts of Valor, TAVF Board members and volunteers, Branford High School (music makers), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Jeff Batter (music), Mary Russo (beautiful knitted scarfs and blankets) and the Girl Scouts Troops from Stanford and East Hampton.

A special thank you to VFW Post 308, Newton CT auxiliary president Scott Gagner for the 35 rods and reels.

The food was excellent, plentiful, and served with a smile. The quilts present by “Quilts of Valor” really brought smiles out of five of the veterans, Gottfried Beisel USN, Gill Simmons USA, Bonnie Mills USAF, Lenny Hunter USA, and Jocelyn Hudson Brown USA. Happy Holidays and best wishes in the New Year to all the volunteers and Veterans that came out to enjoy this special day.
