A special thank you to VFW Post 308, Newton CT auxiliary president Scott Gagner for the 35 rods and reels.
The food was excellent, plentiful, and served with a smile. The quilts present by “Quilts of Valor” really brought smiles out of five of the veterans, Gottfried Beisel USN, Gill Simmons USA, Bonnie Mills USAF, Lenny Hunter USA, and Jocelyn Hudson Brown USA. Happy Holidays and best wishes in the New Year to all the volunteers and Veterans that came out to enjoy this special day.
